Record Labels Going Down, Down.

Another one bites the dust! Am I the only one who is set off at the fact that record labels are dropping artists when they won't do a song and dance like a cat on a hot tin roof? I mean, come on. This is really sad. Who are they picking up when they drop someone? Fall Out Boy? Against Me? Ashley Tisdale? Whooooooo?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go read some industry news. I'm not a huge fan of Annie Lennox, but I definitely think she's an icon in the music world, and to read her account of how she was treated by her label before they ditched her is highly disturbing.

Of course, she's not the only one this has happened to, and she won't be the last. You know the world is coming to an end when Oprah (who I really, really do NOT like, which is why I will probably be voting for Hillary instead of Oprah Obama) gets her own network and Annie Lennox doesn't want to sing anymore. Gah.

Oh, and I guess that little tidbit from Perez Hilton yesterday is actually true. Yay! Coachella, here we come...
