Old 97s at the Tabernacle.

In case anyone missed them (and I know the majority of you did), I did make it to the Tabernacle Friday night to catch my most favorite band in the whole, wide world, the Old 97s. In fact, even though I missed a couple songs because whoever was in charge had them on earlier than they were supposed to go on, I'm pretty sure the euphoric state I was in made up for it.

I was front and center to watch the foursome, and I pressed against the people in front of me to get as close as possible to catch all windmill action from Rhett Miller, as you can see in the picture.

I think anyone who has seen them live can attest to the fact that they bring it, even after years together. They're tight. They're amazing. And that's why I love them.
